Just recently in 2010 we observed need to celebrate a day for little bird. Changing environment and pollution almost killed the house sparrow. We might not see them in few years. Hope our efforts can do little in preserving such species and biodiversity.
We arranged 300 specially made sparrow nest and distributed at several public places around the Gandhinagar. Out motive is clear to aware as many people as possible. Out volunteer installed them at schools, colleges, temples, fire station, police stations and forest office.
We have also arranged 130 pots to calm down the thirst of birds in scorching heat. This year we took special care to make long lasting water pot. We have already started distribution to the public places.
Along with distribution we have also arranged seminars in various schools and colleges to know the next generation about conservation. Mrs. anjna nimavat guided them in various ways.
