At our vanshree, We set tradition of celebrating all the events with nature. Throughout the year we conduct various activities through eco club in 45 schools of gandhinagar and ahmedabad. Recently on “Teacher’s Day” we distributed 800 plants in 10 of our eco club.

Media noted Eco-club inauguration and tree plantation event at Government Primary School of Gandhinagar.
The monsoon has already made entry in Gujarat. Nature loving and caring people have started nurturing mother earth with new phase of tree plantation in Gandhinagar.
On 9th July 2013, an Eco Club was inaugurated at Government Primary School, adopted by Lions Club of Gandhinagar at Sector-8. On this occasion, tree plantation program was planned by Lioness club and Leo Club with the help of Vanshree Trust.
Mrs. Aarti Bhatt (Chief of Lioness club), Mr. Raj Govda (Chief of Leo Club), Mrs. Minaxi Jaysinghani, Jyotiben Panchal, Mrs. Anjana Nimavat(Vanshree Trust) and lioness girls and leo boys planted fruit seedlings like jambul tree, jujube tree, amla tree, guava tree and custard apple tree in school campus.
Mrs. Anjana Nimavat shared extensive knowledge of plantation and nature awareness with students. School Principal, Mrs. Rasilaben Makwana warmly welcomed all and made an appeal to take care of nature and trees.

At Vanshree Trust, Gandhinagar we aim to nurture an understanding and appreciation of the natural world with Eco Clubs in different schools of Gandhinagar. In out Eco-clubs Students learn about what is around them in Nature. Different activities are organised during entire year like plant and animal identification, gardening, trekking and many more.

As the summer gets hotter, season of adventure camps peak at the top. Every year vanshree hots lots of camps through out the years to keep nature education in the mind. Mt. Abut is one of the popular destinations due to its location and climate.

Just recently in 2010 we observed need to celebrate a day for little bird. Changing environment and pollution almost killed the house sparrow. We might not see them in few years. Hope our efforts can do little in preserving such species and biodiversity.

Summer is kicked up and new season of nature exploration is started. 60 Students of our eco club at M.B. Patel School participated in nature camp at polo forest. This forest is full of birds, animals, trees and also heritage sites.

On out biggest event of bird rescue, we made good just as usual. Congratulations and many thanks to all the volunteers, doctors and who ever called us for bird rescue. Uttrayan 2013 passed with several memories and new hope in environmental activities. We rescued some birds in impossible situations.
