Vanshree Trust organised Bird Rescue Awareness seminar in Sector 8 Govt School of Gandhinagar.

As kite flying festival is approaching, we organized an awareness program at Kadi university, Gandhinagar. Our team guided the participants to have a Uttrayan where even the birds are safe. About 50-60 students and teachers had attended the programm. It was very nice to observe that students decided to join hands for saving the birds and refrain from kite flying. Road Safety Is Emerging As A Major Social Concern In The Country. The aim of celebrating the campaign road safety week is to promote the road safety measures in the community, schools, colleges, work places, on roads and etc.
Our Road safety awareness campaign started with variety of educational banners and safety posters. Commuters were also explained about why we need helmets or seat belts while driving on the road or anywhere.

Just recently in 2010 we observed need to celebrate a day for little bird. Changing environment and pollution almost killed the house sparrow. We might not see them in few years. Hope our efforts can do little in preserving such species and biodiversity.

Vanshree celebrated World Sparrowday on 20th March & World Forestday on 21st of March. A seminar on Sparrow Conservation was arranged at a R.N. High School at Kadi Campus 75 students of eco club of the school participated in it.

World Wetlands Day celebrated every year on 2nd feb. to aware and preserve bio diversity of wetlands. Most of us don’t know about importance of wetland in earth ecology. Vanshree started new initiative in this direction.

More than 150 students of Bholabhai Patel College of Business Administration, Gandhinagar participated in rally with bird rescue agenda. They were holding slogans, kites, banner and various posters and marched throughout the Kadi campus.

Nature education is never-ending process. 50 Girls from P K Chaudhry mahila college participated in nature education camp at research and training center of Indroda park.

Youth are the future and their efforts towards conservation with our guidance will result in huge success. Vanshree has been always trying to spread awareness to youth which results into sensitized force of young people working towards conservation of mother nature.
