DNA – Department of Biotechnology’s Natural resource Awareness Club was started in 2007 with more than 600 students from all over Gujarat state. They have organized a 3 day workshop in science city including visit to little ran of kutch.
Mrs. Anjana Neemvat from vanshree participated as resource person and also guided students about bio diversity of dessert. Darshit purohit and Nilam from vanshree helped her in this event. More than 60 students visited salt factory and desert sanctuary at bajana.
Indian wild ass can be only found in desert of kutch. This species is unique and threatened. We must preserve bio diversity of desert to save such species.
